Excitement

It was a night like nothing else
Marked by the moon and stars
Reflected in the mood of the guests
Booze and music – oh, a night of ours

Off went the night – fun and games
I got drunker and drunker – oh my!
An amazing night with many new names
Excited really was I

    Pretty cool. I liked the rhyme flow with "a night of ours" a lot.

    The backwards phrase is a little too straight-forward Master Yoda, but I guess can also be ascribed to the speaker's drunken state...
