Writing Game 3

Help needs she, who thinks the wage gap is real.
If it was, I would agree, it would be a big deal.
But 77 cent to a dollar is nothing but a myth

If you feel triggered by my poem, here’s a picture of Will Smith

We Sleep, They Live

Statues feigned by ostensible people
History is written by the enfeebled

Claiming the seat among the stars
While driving the good co. Ruption® and War(e)s

But in time the tides shall change
Cleansing the dreamers, now estranged

The herd now awakening from their sleep
No longer enslaved in the mind of a sheep

Unity within the grasp of the common
Illusions of the past society now the uncommon

Love and peace finally a reality
The wicked now living in bankruptcy

The Power of Man

The power of man

Suffered have women
Suffered have men
Suffered have children
Again and again
Suffering grows
But fight it we can
With joy and laughter
The power of man

Home Improvement

Again abused and hurt by all the people coming by
I have not done anything wrong, so why?

People come, people go; but the pain is still there
And I ask myself, is it really fair?

I have been at your service day and night
And I do not mean to be impolite..

But you do not treat me with respect
And on the inside I feel wrecked

You slam my doors because of your fights
And move my furniture around due to your sleepless nights

My issue is that I cannot move
You have built me this way
Now improve!

The Tourney Grounds (Writing Game 3)

The masterful knight fell to his knees,
By the sword of the man,
Who did not accept his pleas.
As his blood subtle down his armour ran
He saw his squire come,
With sword in hand.
The knight’s squire did everything he could,
But the knight’s honour
Let him not help him nor would,
He accept the squire’s hand
For getting him off of his knees,
Would turn his honour bland.
He would be knocked out by even a slight breeze,

Cause the ferryman had already been paid his fees.

Lord of the Phrases

Final is that and trip this on
Sounds like a phrase yet it isn't one
Therefore I intend, to make it so
And let me explain how it would go

When taking a look at English language history
More often than not, comes up a mystery
Phrases that are used to express certain things
Yet they do not contain, any sense that rings

But many of the phrases sounds neat and enthusiastic
Take this one for example 'Trip the light fantastic'
The grammar is poorly and words are random
And so is this phrase, that I'll make into an memorandum

'Tell us what it means, we can wait no more'
Now now, calm your tits and I'll make jaws hit the floor
For whenever you read, see or hear
An ending within literature which appear(s)

An ending that concludes, yet is ambiguous
It is indeed final, but also contiguous
Like in Lord of the Rings, with an ending that didn't flop
As Sam says 'You can't leave' manly tears would drop

The reason for me mentioning this scene
Is that it concludes the journey our heroes have on been
Yet it does not end, as Frodo goes on
For another adventure that has just been born

So that's what it means, my newly made phrase
A new trend among people I hope to set a blaze
For just like the ending for Frodo, Sam and Aragorn

My poem is final, and the phrase's trip is on

True or False

I am no one, but still I am someone.
They call me a person, but rather am I faceless.
They say I put up a façade, but still I am more real than they are.
They call me a liar, but I tell more truth than them.
They say I am a good person, but still they do not know the real me.
They call me an angel, but I can be devilish.
They say I am too distant, but yet I am too close.
They call me a queen, but I am nothing but a servant.
They say many things, but none are true or false.
I am no one, but still I am someone. This might be true, but might be false...

Kill your darlings

Poor little thing
You think that you are the centre of the universe
When in fact you are nothing but an offspring
Rather unlikeable, a curse - could you do any worse?

Poor little thing
You are merely a creation of the content that I produce
You are nothing but a product of my imagination
I had a short moment of letting loose, you only exist for my amuse

Poor little thing
You are only existing for the moment
No one would hardly miss you
A creation of the poet, a piece that is broken

Dead is author you say
Poor little thing

I’ve been told
That when you’re stuck
And it seems your muse is lost
You must kill your darlings

A Stroll Into Opposite World

If everything were opposite,
I would laugh a bit.
Or actually more than I’d admit,
It would be a serious hit!

There’d be foods containing a can,
And jogs going for a man,
I’m already a huge fan.

I probably wouldn’t laugh a lot,
But definitely more than a robot.
Don’t get me wrong they laugh if taught,
But I’d laugh louder than a gunshot.

There’d be balls chasing dogs,
And leaves holding logs,
Oh please put that on catalogues.

True, it’s fun and very bizarre,
Perhaps even better than having a car.
Soon as popular as Café Noir,
It’ll shine much brighter than the North Star.

There’d be babies feeding grownups,
And perhaps we'd bake cakecups,
They’d be much cuter than small pups.

All of this would make me giggle,
Oh yes you’re right my abs would wiggle.
It’d make me feel like after a good ol’ Tickle,
I’d pay a lot just take my nickel.

All the bad things would be good,
And only white guys would be in the hood,
Yes I’d be lit like firewood.

No let’s be serious this isn’t fun,
It’s not even close to a home run.
Some would move away with a loved one,
Until this madness is undone.

The fun blew up like bombs of nuclear,
Picture handcuffs wearing prisoners,
And unicorns turning sinister.

"A Darth Poem"

Black steaming water
Falling in my saucer
Droplets heavy in landing
Ruining my planning
For a rhyme I must make
Before I take my break
Creating it of substance
Must inhabit my reluctance
Of letting people know
How hard it is to flow
My thoughts down on paper
Luckily I am Darth Vader

Force choke
As I invoke
My cloak

Hoping to provoke
The true non-believing folk
Of my evil joke
