Dear Students,

Welcome to your friendly blog environment for your class in Creative Writing in the AAU English program, Spring term 2017!

This blog is where most of our communication outside the classroom will take place (of course there is also trusty old Moodle where the Powerpoint slides will appear after each class).

Here on the Creative Writing interactive course blog you will post texts that you have created in response to the writing games and tasks we will be working with through the semester. I'll contribute with admin posts telling you what to do for the coming week, informing you of new uploads of teaching materials etc., etc. At the end of the class  you will harvest your best posts from this blog for your portfolio.

The blog also has the unique interactive feature of allowing comments, feedback and discussion of posts - something that will help you in revising and improving your posts before you include them in your final portfolio that constitutes your exam in this class. Practice commenting on other students' posts. Be honest and straightforward, but not unfriendly and abusive. The more comments you post, the more you are likely to receive on your own work...

The past two years the course ran, the blogs generated around 400 posts and 900 comments per year. Let the fun and games begin!
